Here, Leslie takes you on a brief tour, showing you what a typical morning at Basset Rescue of Montana is like.

Though you'll be introduced to a few bassets, that's not the real intent of this brief video tour of Basset Rescue of Montana's shelter. What Leslie really wants to show you is the amount of work involved in running the rescue, and how busy she is: there're piles of laundry and doggy doo to clean; the wooden fences are getting older and need repair; and she doesn't have time to keep the counters neat and orderly -- dog care is always first!

Anyway, though the video is a bit impromptu (the videographer just happened to drop by) and completely unscripted, Leslie hopes you can see how much work is involved, how dedicated she is -- and maybe you'll be inspired to help out a bit, monetarily! Anyway, thanks for watching!

Someone visiting the Basset Rescue of Montana's shelter told Leslie that she was surprised how beautiful it was; that the video tour didn't do it justice. In response, Leslie created this slideshow so everyone can see just how beautiful it is where the rescued bassets live (this is Montana, after all!) Be sure to select the full-screen icon located in the lower right corner for the best viewing. Enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE: Leslie mentions the new Panasonic video camera -- it was a wonderful, generous donation. This video was of the highest quality; unfortunately, it was also over 500MB! There are few video hosting sites that permit that size video to be uploaded, and besides, it takes forever to upload 500MB. Therefore, it had to be converted & condensed, and the DVD quality was lost.

Leslie took this video on October 4, 2008. It's a tour of the 1+ acre "Basset Creek Crossing" enclosure she developed just for the dogs enjoyment. We hope you enjoy it, too!

Leslie wants me to add that she's a completely amateur videographer and knows it, but she tried her best to give you all a feel for what the rescue is like. I think she succeeded, and hope you agree.
